Artists at Errisbeg

A Place to Create, Explore and Belong

Seen from above, three artists working at a long table in the studio, with a wooden staircase running along the left side

There has always been something about Errisbeg that inspires creativity. Perhaps it is the dramatic Connemara landscape, the ever-changing Atlantic light or simply the peace that comes from being away from the demands of everyday life.

For many years, Errisbeg House has welcomed artists looking for time, space and inspiration. Today, we are continuing that tradition through The Art House of Roundstone, providing a welcoming and supportive environment where emerging artists can develop their work, experiment with new ideas and connect with other creative minds.

More than simply a place to stay, Errisbeg offers a sense of belonging — somewhere artists can feel at home, share ideas and find the freedom to create.

The house's artistic heritage has been shaped by the many people who have passed through its doors, each leaving something of themselves behind. We hope to continue building on that legacy, nurturing new talent while celebrating the artists who have helped make Errisbeg what it is today.
